He's grown to love his restraints. When in chains, he didn't need to hold back. He could be everything; everything that was inside himself, could be let out, and no one would be harmed. He could lash out and snarl and gnash his teeth, and he could slump and just be small and cry, and both were fine, both were... in place. Oz got used to this feeling. This freedom in restraints.

He started experimenting on other nights. Just once in a while, at first, and then it was on weekends, and then it was twice, three times a week, not including full moon nights. In clubs or at home - after all, he did have the equipment.

"Looks just like the real thing," a lover complimented him. He only smiled enigmatically.

In chains is his real strength. In chains, he is most himself.

Oz+chains was actually in canon. Just not so much kink as much as.. necessity. I just went along with it.

Interesting! This is a new thought for me, but I can definitely see it. Oz is normally so composed and self-restrained. Being able to externalize all the control and let go would be addictive.
