I love John Inman. IMDB says:

On 27 December 2005 Inman entered into a civil partnership with his partner of 33 years, Ron Lynch, in Westminster under a new British law giving official recognition to same sex relationships, which had come into effect the week before.

I think it's still watchable. You just cringe more often, maybe... even that, not so much. Less cringy than certain modern stuff I can think of.

No, they show it here on Canadian TV and I just... I cringe thinking that it wasn't that good they should rerun it, you know? I mean, I loved it at 8 when most of the innuendo went way over my head, but not everything's a cult classic...

I admit I haven't seen it in some years, but I saw it as an adult (not for the first time I mean - just relatively recent), and to be honest, still better than a lot of current, well-updated stuff.

I love John Inman to little bits and pieces! Have adored him forever and ever and ever. I love AYBS so, so much I even watched the actually sort of not very good Australian version for him! We even had a Grace Brothers store - not any more it's something else now.

Seems the 27th was the day for gay Brits doing this too *nods* My boy John Barrowman and his partner did it as well on that day so yay for Dec 27, 2006!

And cos I'm always linking - John wedding pics. In a kilt *Joanne swoons* Scott's the cute boy in the second row down on the first page in the last two pics - the dark-haired one, not the redhead - am thinking he was best man/relative type person.
