For the poll: I get the literary smut online exclusively, nowadays. Photographic, I don't get, period. I kind of lost interest in the visual stuff once I started actually having sex (so, late high school). Anything I've seen since then has been sporadic and doesn't hold my attention. I'm not interested in staring at the usual model-types (which I don't find attractive, generally) doing anything sexual. Now, get some people I find interesting to do a live show, and I'm so there. :) But as that's not something easily acquired, visual stuff plays in my head, only. Hence, the literary smut, which is to say, fanfic, because that's where my brain is at these days -- and then I lean toward the writers who have a knack for turning images into words. Used to read novels, old pulps and new Blue Moon paperbacks, that sort of thing, but can't afford it. I try writing my own smut, but I'm terrible at it. Can get the images, can't put them on the page -- I've got some kind of block, there. :P

As for suggestions for what you could write, I never get tired of your Giles/Ethan. *grin* But if you're looking for something else... How about Ethan with someone famous, set in the time between the Eyghon days and Sunnydale? A musician, an actor, someone like that. Ethan/Bowie! *GLEE* And in a related vein: how about Ethan/Jareth?

What I did in the past couple of days is poke a friend with a small sharp stick until she gives me the vague lines of the images in her head, and then I make it fic. It makes us both happy - I hope.

I love G/E, will do lots more, but, I have too many ideas and not one that... shines, you know what I mean? I need to... find new angles, and new ideas.

Re Ethan doing a real person, well. I'm not entirely sure I can write that. I definitely don't think I can write it with Bowie, as he is the GOD of everything a musician I like quite a lot. But I think I know people who might (babydraco, cough, I'm looking at you).

I've seen Ethan/Jareth once before, you know? Very strange it was, though. I'm not sure I can touch Bowie. I will try to think around that idea, though...

Visual porn does NOTHING for me, but well-written erotic fiction gets me all hot and bothered. I need some kind of story, plot, or emotional involvement for it to work for me. I typically read fanfiction, because I know the characters already and have enough buy-in that I can enjoy PWPs.

Mostly I get my porn from my friendslist! Occasionally I go visit a comm for a larger fandom I've got some knowledge of, and read stories more or less for pure smut value.

When I'm feeling particularly porn-inclined, I do look at visual porn sites (I'm fond of corbinfisher.com, mostly for the little discriptions, which are *kind of awesome* if you're me) or go torrent video porn.

I've never subscribed to corbinfisher--I just look read the little discriptions of each film (because they amuse me!) and look at the preview pics. ;) The young guys thing is kind of a limitation, though.
