Adam: Just out of "I want to kill some time before I go to bed" - give me a well known phrase or saying that you like and/or use often.
Sue: ummm..."That's the way the cookie crumbles"
Sue: "Gimme some sugar"
Sue: "Once a thief, always a thief"
Sue: "A dog is a man's best friend"
Fandom: OaT.
Character: Vic
Warning: G
Dedication: Sue
Comfort
And Vic just sits there. After the mission went so spectacularly straight to hell, after getting yelled at and scolded and at one point he was sure the Director was going to use that riding crop rather than just wave it about suggestively – he went home, and now he just sits there. Staring gloomily across the coffee table at Mac, he munches a cookie. It crumbles in his hand and he licks the chocolaty remains off his palm.
"Gimme some sugar." It's the first thing he's said since he walked through the door, and Mac just stares at him. Vic shrugs, takes a tablespoon of caster sugar and sprinkles it on his next cookie. He eats it, and licks the fine powder from his fingers. Mac barks, once, a single loud sound in the otherwise quiet room. Vic doesn't feel so alone anymore.
"What would I do without you, boy," he says, petting the dog's fur. Mac tilts his head and wags his tail, happy at the sound of his master's voice.
Fluff ingredients: Cookies, sugar, dog, Vic
