Firsts; "First Impressions"
Title: First Impressions
Fandom: Buffy
Ep: Halloween
Characters: Willow, Ethan, Giles
Challenge: Firsts; from
anidada.
Summary: First time she met him.
"Giles..."
She enters the shop and immediately feels something is wrong. Giles is looking around him, at the costumes, but Willow moves to the back of the shop because that's where it's coming from, and that's where she feels it. That's where she sees it.
"Janus," Giles says. "Roman mythical god."
It's not much of an explanation. "What does this mean?"
"Primarily the division of self. Male and female, light and dark..." He sounds like he already knows what he's gonna find here. Willow thinks about division; about having two different wants inside. About men and about women. About what she wants. Who she is. The statue's eyes glow an unnatural light.
And a scary man walks calmly into the circle of light and talks.
"Chunky and creamy. Oh, no, sorry, that's peanut butter." He smiles. She's nervous. He doesn't even look at her.
Just at Giles.
"Willow, get out of here," Giles says and the urgency in his voice frightens her. "Now."
She's curious. She wants to know, wants to understand. She wonders who this man is. "But..."
"Now!"
She takes one look at Giles and leaves. She hurries down the street to warn the others, and all along she thinks about this man. Who he is. What he is, that made Giles so angry, so worried. She knows magic when she sees it, dark magic, she thinks. Powerful magic. Whoever this man is, he's not safe, he's not nice.
And she thinks he's kinda gay.

you are wicked creative, funny, really good in making a killer point in few words etc. That is part of art.
And if you want people to *only* like you for your art, you need to get rid of you personality, darlin'.

Anyway. Thanks for the generous ego-stroking. I don't really need it, but it's always pleasant. *smooch* :)
